Cork has Ireland’s largest coastline with 1,100km, which makes up 19% of the entire Irish coastline and covers an area of 7,459sq km which is 11% of the Irish State. This makes Cork Ireland’s largest county, with Cork harbour being the second largest natural harbour in the world. Cork is regarded as the food capital of Ireland with more than 350 artisan producers located in the county.
